WHAT DOES THE TEST INVOLVE?
The recorder is attached to your chest by electrodes and wires which are taped firmly to your chest, as it is essential that these do not become detached during the recording.
It is very important to note that you cannot shower or bathe while you are wearing the recorder; it must not get wet under any circumstances. You should therefore remember to shower or bathe before your appointment.
All other normal daily activities can be undertaken whilst the recorder is attached, although vigorous exercise is not encouraged as perspiration can affect the recording quality or cause electrodes to become dislodged.
